Hi! I’m Adrienne. Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve dreamed of writing since I can remember, beginning my journey by binding loose-leaf page illustrated stories together with twist ties from finished loaves of bread. From there, I upgraded to filling entire hardcover notebooks with stories. Eventually, I started writing in any way I could — with vintage typewriters gifted from encouraging friends, on the backs of worn napkins, on a barely-hanging-on old laptop. Everywhere I went, my words were spilling out from me, and into the world. I’ve had so many stories to tell, and now I’m finally getting to share them.
My journey hasn’t always been easy — I’ve struggled for years with self-doubt and impostor syndrome, but it’s a battle I’m finally beginning to win through completing and polishing the books that haunt my thoughts every waking hour.
I love books about love, especially queer love and all its joy and beauty. My books primarily focus on LGBTQ+ romance set in futuristic other worlds, a blending of my two favorite genres into one, chaotic whole.

What can I expect from your books?
My books will always be speculative fiction, centered around spicy queer (typically m/m with occasional f/f) romance. Though I often have dark themes in my stories, I promise to always deliver a happy ending at the conclusion of each series! I take my happy endings very, very seriously.
My particular flavor of sci-fi tends to be space opera.

Where do you get your inspiration and ideas?
Everywhere, from all sorts of sources. The two primary idea sources for me are music (with the right kind of song, I can fall into a daydream that can lead to entirely new scenes or book concepts) and dreams. Dreams are just weird enough and enigmatic enough that they haunt me and often leave me wanting to see more than what I was shown.
What are you currently working on?
Lots! My current focus is on the Starhawk trilogy. The first book, Kestrel, is complete and about to be published. I’m currently 102k words (almost done!) into the second book, Killjoy. I am also in the planning stages of my next (m/m) series and am brewing up a fun companion novella for the Starhawk series which will be a f/f story that is optional reading.
Who makes your book covers?
The perennially talented Mibl Team from GetCovers are my cover artists and designers. They are true wizards who create incredible artwork from stock assets (as well as illustrated options if you want the more premium experience at MiblArt). I’m incredibly grateful to all their hard work and skill!
